The golf game [Everybody's Golf 5 Personal Edition] will appear in the Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEJ) online service [PLAYSTATION STORE] for a limited time between 21/3 at 13:00 and 5/7 distributed for free.
The last work in the [Everybody's Golf] series, [Everybody's Golf 5] is planned to release in July. From the same firm, a charming and instant fun version [Everybody's Golf Personal Edition] will appear in the [PLAYSTATION STORE] free of chage. Before the distribution, during the first 10 days of March, the Demo units set at shops known as [PLAYSTATION TV] will carry this personal edition.
In this new work, the until now familiar Gauge bar wil be changed for a new system called [Honkaku shot (Original or genuine shot)]. First the character situation is set with the O button and the swing will start. Half of the swing is at 50%, full swing is at 100% and down swing (shot) is at the beginning. Power control is made with the "white ring" that appears going slowly towards the ball. When the ring reaches the center of the ball and made very small (the club head's lowest point) with pressing the O button a second time the club will hit the ball.
-First appearance of the new shot system. You press the circle button in timing with the white ring reaching the center of the ball. (Up left to down right is the screen sequence).
Concerning the putt, the system is the same. You set the power while looking the character's swing. When the distance is less than 5m. the approximation is made with the putter swing, and a ball remaining distance meter will appear. When the remaining distance meter dissapears it indicates that you have reached a confident distance and your caddy will cheer.
-When the ball is at less than 5m. a distance meter appears. The images aren't showing that the hit went pretty well.
The personal and the retail edition using the genuine shot system "Extend the carry" over the old gauge preparation system will have a few advantages. With this, the people going for inmediate enjoyment will use the traditional shot style. And the people looking for difficult courses and best scores challenges will go with the genuine shot style.
The [PLAYSTATION TV] and the [PLAYSTATION STORE] Personal Editions will have slight differencies. In the [PLAYSTATION TV] version will be available a single play mode with 3 holes in the "Ayamegahara Country Club". The available characters will be Conan, Jasmine, and the caddy Natsumi. Traditional shot and genuine shot will be enabled. The [PLAYSTATION STORE] version will have this, a 2P versus, and 9 holes or 3 holes randomly selected from the "Ayamegahara Country Club" plays will be possible.
Super shots, reality like tournaments, varied camera angles and character power-up will appear in this title. People who want to have a great experience will surely check this up.

-A compilation of the Personal Edition course. The images sugest a clear atmosphere, fresh breeze and a calm scenery set in midst of nature. The condition of the golf course is the same as a real one, with adjacent holes and the ability to look for shortcuts in long holes.
-In this series latest iteration, the pass of time is reflected. During day the sun shines, with the approaching sunset the course colors fade to orange.
-Power and exact impact timing will send out super shots. What will they do and in which way can we enjoy them?

Notes: The richness of the Japanese language to explain emotional states never ceases to amaze me. I put the that caddy "cheers" when you reach a short distance of the hole, but the original said her attitude being "heartening" or "reassuring". A literal translation looked a little weird, so instead I chose "cheer".
The japanese game previews are amazingly detailed, aren't they? Notice how this one centered in gameplay and didn't say even one thing of the graphics. I think of this as a cultural difference.
I simply don't know if the name of the country club is well spelled. My limited japanese knowledge says me that Ayameme is the right one. Maybe is Ayameayame or Ayameyame. I will consult my teacher about this
EDIT: it was Ayamegahara, the kanji was read "hara" (field) not "ken" (original)

This saga has different names according the region were is released. In Japan is known as Minna no golf, in Europe as Everybody's golf (a exact translation) and in USA as Hot Shots Golf (Americans like to go their way
